Agriculture Room

The Agriculture Exhibit focuses on the economic importance of farming to Winchester and Clark County.  The exhibit begins with the introduction of shorthorn cattle by the Patton and Gay families and chronologically tells the history of the river and of the hemp, tobacco, Southdown sheep and turkey industries.  Within the exhibit is a section on the Sphar Seed Company and French Rickard and F.W. Rickard Seeds Inc.
